Our Story

Philippine Travel Specialists

Mega Travel Ltd. is a private company, owned and operated by Josie Leippi. She immigrated to Canada in 1993 and pursued her passion for travel and tourism, graduating in 1996 from the International Travel Academy in Vancouver, BC.

Three months after graduating, Josie began her career as a travel consultant at a Korean travel agency, where she handled the Asian and Philippine markets. Within three years, she was promoted to assistant manager and ticketing agent. Recognizing the growing demand for specialized travel services, she took a leap of faith and, in late 1999, resigned to start her own travel agency.

Mega Travel opened its doors in the year 2000—ushering in the new millennium with a commitment to excellence. With the support of a friend, Oscar Ibarrola, Mega Travel quickly became one of the leading Philippine travel agencies in Vancouver, BC.
